We Teach From First Principles
At our core, we prioritise teaching you the foundational elements of Yoga.
This approach ensures you grasp the essential principles before delving into more complex topics like the philosophical or psychological dimensions of Yoga. The field of Yoga encompasses a broad spectrum of practices and beliefs.
For some, it represents a profound spiritual journey, while for others, it's a method for enhancing lifestyle or achieving mental and physical equilibrium. Recognising this diversity, our teaching is designed to be inclusive and adaptable to your personal goals and needs.
The Importance of First Principles in Yoga
Starting with first principles is crucial because it prevents you from feeling overwhelmed by the extensive and sometimes intricate aspects of Yoga.
Without a solid understanding of the basics, it's easy to lose your way in the vast array of practices and theories.
By mastering these fundamental principles, you'll be equipped to navigate through the complexities of Yoga and apply its teachings effectively across different areas of your life.
Whether you're seeking spiritual growth, lifestyle enhancement, or health improvements, a strong foundational knowledge enables you to adapt Yoga practices to meet your specific circumstances.

Jelila Laouiti is a massage and Yoga practitioner, passionate by movement and dance. Sheʼs been studying Traditional Thaï Massage in Sri Lanka and Thailand and sheʼs currently practicing in Brussels.
Besides, sheʼs enrolled in a long-term
academic course in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Thaï Massage is a traditional therapy combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted Yoga postures. The recipient remains clothed during treatment.
There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked.
The idea of this course is to develop the sense of touching, how to position the hands, and create together a short sequence that could be easily used in a Yin class.
My goal is to provide you with tools and skills to understand how to touch and adjust with confidence and intention.
