Over ten weekends, you’ll immerse yourself in a transformative journey that blends modern Yoga with timeless wisdom.

You’ll learn how to teach Yoga effectively and safely, while building a solid understanding of foundational anatomy, philosophy, and human psychology.

Gary Bridgeman

Gary Bridgeman founded the Yoga Academy, a community of Yoga, body and mental health professionals dedicated to integrating scientific research into traditional Yoga techniques to support the teaching community and empower individuals to live their most fulfilling lives.

Gary’s passion lies in raising the bar in Yoga education and helping establish Yoga teachers as recognised professionals with the skills and knowledge to support their students in learning, growing, and evolving beyond their self-imposed limitations.

Born in London, England, Gary now lives in Brussels, Belgium, and is a E-500H Yoga Alliance registered Yoga teacher, MBSR teacher, and neurodynamic breathwork facilitator.

An avid polymath, Gary also complements his Yoga with knowledge of philosophy, psychology, physiology, and entrepreneurship.

Simon Dwyer

Simon believes that meditation is more than just a skill; it's a way of being that can transform our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Simon's time in an Ashram was rigorous, with multiple daily meditations.

He learned various practices centred around the robust process of Self-Inquiry, which develops mindfulness, compassion, loving-kindness and insight and helps us connect with our true selves.

Beyond his extensive education and experience in the Ashram, Simon is an organisational psychologist, psychotherapist, and wellness coach who helps people find more peace, joy and balance.

With over 15 years of meditation practice and teaching experience, Simon's teaching style is warm, friendly and supportive.

He creates a safe and welcoming space for everyone to explore their inner potential.

Michael Chia

Michael is a yoga enthusiast who stumbled upon its transformative power in 2011 while in Bali. Later, while going through the deepest chapter of a health crisis, yoga became his guiding light.

This profound experience ignited his passion to share its transformative power with others.

He enjoys travelling and has taught in the serene landscapes of Thailand, Cambodia, and Bali.

For Michael, yoga transcends beyond mere physical postures of Asana practice or being flexible; it's a holistic practice embracing mindfulness, gratitude, and, more importantly, cultivating a positive mindset.

In between travels, he channels his creativity through the lens of a commercial photographer, videographer, and workshop leader.

Beyond yoga, his pursuits include a lifelong dedication to Shotokan Karate and certification as a Thai massage therapist.

Alicja Kutek

Alicja is a passionate Yoga teacher with years of self-practice in various styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa (Mandala), Ashtanga, and YinYang.

Her journey began with a simple desire to master headstands but quickly evolved as she discovered Yoga's profound impact on both body and mind. After completing her 200-hour teacher training, Alicja fell in love with teaching and guiding others through their practice.

Beyond Yoga, Alicja is a creative artist and graphic designer with a deep love for outdoor sports and a passion for physiotherapy.

In her teaching, she blends pranayama, Yoga philosophy, and daily influences to create unique and engaging classes.

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to meet the group's energy, focusing on technique, alignment, and the joy of practice. With a balance of challenges and relaxation, Alicja is dedicated to fostering self-discovery and growth through Yoga.

Question 1: Am I ready to start a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training programme?

If you’re passionate about Yoga, eager to deepen your knowledge, and ready to share your love for the practice, you’re more than ready to take the first step toward becoming a teacher.

In this programme, you’ll gain essential skills to teach with confidence.

You’ll master the fundamentals of each asana, learn how to offer safe adjustments and modifications, and develop effective cueing techniques for sequences.

You’ll also explore how to communicate with diverse audiences and anchor your own practice in ways that will inspire your teaching.

Question 2: What experience do I need?

Don’t worry—this isn’t about mastering advanced arm balances or complex twists.

What matters is your dedication. If you’ve had six months to a year of committed Yoga practice, you’re ready to join the programme.

You’ll refine your practice and begin to view asanas through the lens of a teacher. While the training will introduce you to some challenging poses, that’s where the magic happens—Yoga and your body working together to help you grow.

Question 3: What if I miss a weekend?

We understand that life happens, so we require you to attend at least 80% of the training weekends and make an effort to catch up on missed content.

If you miss a weekend, you’ll have access to key materials and the chance to book paid catch-up sessions where needed. You can also join a future programme to revisit the missed subject and ensure you stay on track.

Question 4: What is your refund policy?

Your payment includes a €500 deposit, which is non-refundable.

Up to 30 days before the training: You can cancel your enrolment and receive a full refund or credit, minus the deposit.

Between 30 and 15 days before the training: You’re eligible for a 50% refund or credit.

Within 15 days of the training: Refunds or credits are not available.

If your plans change, you can transfer your enrolment to a future edition of the YTT programme (subject to availability and approval) at no additional cost—once.

Question 5: What certificate do I get?

You’ll graduate with a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification—a globally recognised credential that opens countless doors for your Yoga teaching journey.

With this certification, you can:

Teach Yoga worldwide, whether in studios, fitness centres, corporate settings, or privately.

Offer classes online or in person, expanding your opportunities to reach more students.

Access insurance easily, giving you the confidence to teach with peace of mind.

This certification equips you to confidently share your practice in diverse settings, wherever your path takes you.

Question 6: How much study time do I need to plan for?

You should plan to dedicate 4-6 hours each week to coursework, including watching supporting videos and completing required reading.

Regular Yoga practice is essential throughout the programme, and you’ll also need to complete 60 hours of in-studio practice to fully immerse yourself in the learning experience.

Question 7: What style of Yoga do you teach?

The 200-hour programme at The Yoga Loft and Academy provides you with comprehensive training to design and deliver Yoga classes that meet the unique needs of your students.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and traditional Yoga practices, giving you the tools to personalise your teaching with confidence.

No matter your Yoga background, this training will deepen your understanding of asana and body mechanics, helping you refine your practice and integrate these insights into your teaching.
