Learn to be a Yoga Teacher while experiencing professional growth.
Professional or Personal?
Yoga teacher training can often blur the lines between professional skill-building and personal growth.
While both are valuable, our focus is clear: equipping you with professional expertise which unlocks personal growth.
Our Yoga teacher Training programme emphasises skill-building through diverse teachers and expert-led sessions, ensuring you gain a broad, grounded education.
Spirituality or Consciousness?
Spirituality is a sense of connection to the greater whole, while consciousness, the foundation of all experience, is the awareness of self and reality.
Rather than framing them as separate, they are two expressions of the same underlying unity.
In our Yoga teacher training, we explore this unity, helping you deepen your understanding of self-awareness and its connection to the broader experience of being.
Psychology or Philosophy?
Psychology examines human behaviour and mental processes. Philosophy, by contrast, explores the fundamental nature of existence, knowledge, and values.
Many Yoga programmes blur these lines, presenting Philosophy as though it were Psychology.
In our Yoga teacher training, we clarify the distinction and help you see how understanding your Psychology can empower you to live and teach your personal Philosophy.

Born in London, England, Gary now lives in Brussels, Belgium, and is a E-500H Yoga Alliance registered Yoga teacher, MBSR teacher, and neurodynamic breathwork facilitator.

Simon believes that meditation is more than just a skill; it's a way of being that can transform our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Simon's time in an Ashram was rigorous, with multiple daily meditations.
He learned various practices centred around the robust process of Self-Inquiry, which develops mindfulness, compassion, loving-kindness and insight and helps us connect with our true selves.
Beyond his extensive education and experience in the Ashram, Simon is an organisational psychologist, psychotherapist, and wellness coach who helps people find more peace, joy and balance.
With over 15 years of meditation practice and teaching experience, Simon's teaching style is warm, friendly and supportive.
He creates a safe and welcoming space for everyone to explore their inner potential.
Michael is a yoga enthusiast who stumbled upon its transformative power in 2011 while in Bali. Later, while going through the deepest chapter of a health crisis, yoga became his guiding light.
This profound experience ignited his passion to share its transformative power with others.
He enjoys travelling and has taught in the serene landscapes of Thailand, Cambodia, and Bali.
For Michael, yoga transcends beyond mere physical postures of Asana practice or being flexible; it's a holistic practice embracing mindfulness, gratitude, and, more importantly, cultivating a positive mindset.
In between travels, he channels his creativity through the lens of a commercial photographer, videographer, and workshop leader.
Beyond yoga, his pursuits include a lifelong dedication to Shotokan Karate and certification as a Thai massage therapist.
Bahar Camozu, from Izmir, Turkey, is a dedicated yoga teacher with a background in marketing and corporate consulting.
After discovering her passion for yoga, she has been teaching Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga since 2023, inspired by her experience in long-distance running and marathons.
Bahar has completed a 40-hour training with David Swenson and a 200-hour Hatha Vinyasa training in Brussels. Her practice, enriched by Mysore classes, is the cornerstone of her life.
As a certified instructor, Bahar guides students in achieving holistic well-being through the union of breath and movement, focusing on physical alignment, mental clarity, and inner peace.
Central to her teaching is ujjayi breathing, which enhances the yoga experience and nurtures the nervous system.
Alicja is a passionate Yoga teacher with years of self-practice in various styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa (Mandala), Ashtanga, and YinYang.
Her journey began with a simple desire to master headstands but quickly evolved as she discovered Yoga's profound impact on both body and mind. After completing her 200-hour teacher training, Alicja fell in love with teaching and guiding others through their practice.
Beyond Yoga, Alicja is a creative artist and graphic designer with a deep love for outdoor sports and a passion for physiotherapy.
In her teaching, she blends pranayama, Yoga philosophy, and daily influences to create unique and engaging classes.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to meet the group's energy, focusing on technique, alignment, and the joy of practice. With a balance of challenges and relaxation, Alicja is dedicated to fostering self-discovery and growth through Yoga.

I am so excited and happy to have dared to take this journey Now so gorgeous about this experience, I even thank myself for having subscribed.
It would have been such a shame to miss this. I also feel a bit sad it’s over because I really loved my weekend during the training.
My confidence during the training went from low to high thanks to Marc’s philosophy and approach. I thought at first that I was not good enough at Yoga but actually there is no good or bad.
I was positively surprised about the teaching philosophy which is inclusive to all levels, with compassion and acceptance of limits.
I am happy that I chose this training at the Brussels Yoga Academy because it was exactly corresponding to my teaching style and philosophy.

“I personally grew so much in those past two months." - Carina
I would absolutely recommend this training. I personally grew so much in those past two months.
Mentally as well as personally. I never thought about teaching a group – I did this training more for myself and my yogic growth.
But looking into the faces of the group after teaching is priceless and I really enjoyed it.
It was also a great experience to meet like-minded people to share experiences and get new inspirations.
If you're passionate about Yoga, eager to learn, and want to share your love for the practice with others, you're ready to embark on the path to becoming a teacher. Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training programme will equip you with essential skills.
The course covers the fundamentals of each asana, provides guidance on safe adjustments and modifications, and teaches you effective cueing techniques for sequences. You'll also learn how to communicate with diverse audiences and anchor your practice in a way that informs your teaching.
No need to fret; advanced arm balances and intricate twists aren't mandatory for this course. We do ask that you have at least a six months to a year of committed Yoga practice, ensuring that everyone in the training has a basic understanding of various asanas.
The programme then helps you sharpen your practice and view asanas from an instructional angle.
During the training, you'll encounter some challenging poses, but that's the enriching aspect of Yoga and your body—each informs the other!
We require that you attend at least 80% of the training weekends and endeavour to make up your learning.
